PixBuilder Studio

Image editing is becoming more and more popular. Maybe it's because a photo that was taken with a low performance digital camera isn't good enough or just because one wishes to add a personal touch to a photograph, making it stand up above the crowd. Either way, you need an image editing software. You could use Paint, the software included in Windows but you will soon realize that it lacks a lot of options and that it has very limited image possibilities. Alternatively, you could use Adobe Photoshop, the well known advanced photo editor, but this is not for beginners due to the complexity of its functions. It also costs a lot of money and it requires powerful computers. A better solution is PixBuilder Studio. It's an image editor that has most of the features of Adobe Photoshop, but comes in a much larger package.

PixBuilder Studio is not difficult to install, nor does it take long to complete this process. It takes up about 30 MB of hard disk space, which is much lower compared to other similar programs. It requires low system resources and can basically run on any average computer system.

The interface of PixBuilder Studio resembles the one of other similar image editing tools and so, it allows any user to get familiar with it in the shortest time possible. The left panel of the interface includes the familiar drawing tools. Besides these tools, the classical drop-down menu has all you would expect from a drawing utility, like image correction settings, effects and layers. The number of effects can be extended by using plugins. These can be downloaded from the producer's website.

Basically, for being able to use all these, the user just needs to open an image or a set of images into the program. The number of graphical formats supported by the program is quite impressive and covers all the well known formats plus some others that are not so widely used. Besides that, images can also be acquired from scanners. Edited images can be saved as a graphical format or can be printed directly.
